A cartuga is a pirate MMO played from the browser level. Players take on the role of captains of powerful mastblazers. In the virtual world, they spend their time mainly on fighting sea battles and searching for treasures. The game uses a free model supplemented with voluntary micropayments.
Kartuga is a browser-based MMO maintained in pirate climates. This is the production of InnoGames, a company specializing in this type of titles. The whole is based on a free model with micropayments.
We play the role of ship captains. The game consists mainly of fighting sea battles, both against other players and shoulder to shoulder with them against common enemies. Our mast belongs to one of three classes - you can choose between a graceful Destroyer, a powerful Protector and an Engineer suitable for many different tasks. Each of these types has its own characteristics and special abilities. All of this has been designed so that the ships actually play the role of player characters.
Most of the time we spend sailing in the vast oceans, which are divided into three separate areas. Each of them is inhabited by different factions. We are rewarded with experience points to unlock new skills, ships and items.
Sea battles are played in real time and winning them requires both cleverness and skillful fingers. The game makes it easy to set up guilds, and battles between numerous groups of players are one of the main attractions of Kartuga. Between clashes we can take care of treasure hunts. There are also side missions in which we fight against units controlled by artificial intelligence.
