Game mechanics

In Knights of San Francisco gameplay is based on reading colorful descriptions of situations in which the protagonist finds himself and on taking various decisions. We have to make choices both in important moments for the story (then they determine the further course of the story) and during battles with enemies. We have full freedom in choosing the targets while fighting. Nothing stands in the way of, for example, cutting off the enemy's hand and using it as a cold weapon.

Completing the described production is a task for about 90 minutes. It is worth ing that once a decision is made, it cannot be undone; nevertheless, this increases the replayability of the title, as subsequent approaches to the game may look slightly different. It is also affected by the fact that the story is partly procedurally generated, and the game world lives its own life and some events take place here even without our participation.

Technical aspects

Although the main role in Knights of San Francisco is played by text, we can also find here charming sketches showing the visited locations, met characters or enemies.
