Left 4 Dead 2: The Sacrifice

Left 4 Dead 2: The Sacrifice for PC and X360 is an expansion pack compatible both with Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2. The Sacrifice is a prequel to another DLC - The ing. The expansion was created by Valve. For those of you who don’t know – Left 4 Dead is a cooperation-oriented, zombie-themed shooter game requiring four players to survive attacks of the undead. Although the game was designed specifically to deliver a multiplayer experience, one can still play solo, accompanied by AI-controlled characters.

Plot & Mechanics

The players assume roles of the survivors from the first Left 4 Dead game, who have travelled to the southern part of the United States. The group will have to face severe difficulties, as the zombies are getting more aggressive and the overall number of them is constantly increasing. This means that one of the team- may have to sacrifice their life to save the group in the dramatic finale. However, the players are the ones to decide which of the characters is to make the titular sacrifice.
