Plot

In Legend of Keepers: Career of a Dungeon Master we take on the role of a ruler of the underworld, working for a company under rather unoriginal name "Underground". Our task is to protect the dungeons and hidden treasures from the attempts of the heroes who enter them.

Mechanics

The game in Legend of Keepers: Career of a Dungeon Master begins with selecting one of the three dungeon rulers representing different professions: Mogu, a centaur who specializes in sending various monsters into battle, a drunkard named Sarel, who makes use primarily of magic, and a monkey engineer known as Lira, who is a specialist in setting up traps.

Then, we can start the proper game, and therefore to study the statistics of heroes entering our dungeons, set up the right traps based on the knowledge we have gained and send the right monsters into battle. When the heroes reach the underworld and meet our charges, a turn-based battle begins, in which, in order to achieve success, we must skillfully use the combat abilities of individual monsters. If everything goes according to plan, we will be victorious and, as a result, we will acquire the necessary resources to develop our dungeon and its security.

As we progress, we discover and plunder the procedurally generated game world, as well as develop our dungeon master, gaining new skills. In addition, from time to time we have to face various random events, such as strikes of our subordinates, which we deal with in various ways.
