Mechanics

In Lichtspeer for PC, AND and etc., the player assumes the role of a bright-haired warrior who traverses this amazing world, slaying different mythological creatures. As mentioned above, the player throws luminous spears at enemies trying to reach the protagonist - usually, he stands by the left side of the screen. A visible flight-path of spears helps in aiming at the targets; enemies have to be taken out before they manage to reach the protagonist. Having defended his position, the protagonist moves on further to take a new one and defend it against the next wave of enemies.

The gameplay is diversified with special powers, such as the rainfall of spears that encomes the entire map. The powers are developed as the player progresses. Both the locations and enemies are largely diverse here, which makes it even more difficult to exit the game. Among the creatures the player encounters, it is worth mentioning zombies, ice giants, pegasuses, bomb-throwing penguins and seals that attack from underwater. Also, the player fights powerful bosses from time to time. In order to defeat them, adequate tactics have to be applied.

Technical aspects

Lichtspeer for PC, AND and etc. stands out with its graphic style as well. Two-dimensional objects made of simple blocks are combined with bright colors contrasting with one another (pink and blue are dominant here). It is also worth mentioning the pleasant music, which accompanies the experience.
