Line of Sight

Trying to compensate for his mistake, Geiger developed a completely new being - Alpha Child, that is free from the genetical flaws of its dangerous predecessors and constitutes the quintessential part of Geiger's work. The US government broke the cooperation with the scientist however, who afterwards fled to Russia in fear of getting his creation destroyed. Meanwhile, with help of Dr Hendrix, the Americans managed to create their own type of a soldier that is even better, and above all, remains loyal to the US. A group known as the Centurions was the result of their work - they were entrusted with the task of fighting those initially created by Geiger. Finding Alpha Child became the prime objective for both the sides of the conflict, as it meant the only hope for victory.

Mechanics

Line of Sight for PC is a well-balanced, dynamic FPS game. The players choose between two sides of the conflict and compete against one another in several different modes. The creators themselves refer to their game as to a multi-player combination of Call of Duty - although Line of Sight is very similar to the aforementioned Combat Arms in of the mechanics, the experience is diversified here with a series of new employments, and one of the most important innovations here is the introduction of psionic powers. Interestingly, most of the changes introduced to the gameplay formula of Combat Arms were based on the suggestions of the players themselves (the players' opinions were being gathered since 2011). Similar to the majority of modern-day, online FPS games, Line of Sight offers a large character personalization component, as well as complex, optical and mechanical weapon customization system (scopes or silencers for example).

Game modes

Line of Sight offers many different PvP modes and innovative PvE gameplay variants. When introducing special powers to the game, the creators still had the fans of classic game modes in mind - here said powers cannot be accessed and experiencing the game in one of these modes does not differ significantly from what typical representatives of the genre have to offer. Obviously, the game features a dedicated ranking system, league matches or clans.

Technical aspects

In of the visuals, Line of Sight for PC is well ahead of its direct predecessor, utilizing the advanced Unreal Engine. Also, a functional editor was featured-in, thus the players are capable of deg their own maps.
