The protagonist of Loose Leaf: A Tea Witch Simulator is a witch, running a tea house suspended between worlds. By making tea and reading cards to the customers, she improves her skills and discovers who she really is - a helpful healer or a mischievous, villainous witch.

Mechanics

Loose Leaf: A Tea Witch Simulator is a first-person game. The key mechanic is brewing tea; though it's much more complex than pouring water over a bag. We must select ingredients and use different equipment, on one hand needing to follow the recipe, on the other - to experiment and discover new recipes. Apart from fairly standard teas, like chamomile, Lady Grey Latte or matcha, we can also prepare brews based on blood, newt's eyes or many other strange ingredients. As we progress, we learn new recipes and ingredients, creating increasingly complex brews.

We don't prepare tea just for ourselves, but also for our customers. Guests arrive for a warm drink and to get advice on dealing with their problems. To help them, we must read and interpret cards; we should bear in mind everything we say can affect their fate.
