A remake of an RPG game known from the Sega CD console originally released in 1992. The refreshed edition offers a completely new soundtrack, tuned graphics and a pair of improved gameplay elements.
Lunar: Silver Star Harmony is the refreshed version of Lunar: The Silver Star released on a Sega CD console. The game is a typical representative of the jRPG genre, once considered to be extremely successful.
The main character of the game is a young boy, Alex, who always wanted to become a great warrior. Such as his great idol Dyne, who disappeared in mysterious circumstances many years ago. During his absence, the forces of darkness began to spread throughout the world and grow in strength. Hungry for adventure, Alex decided to gather his companions with him and then almost immediately gets into trouble. The plot not only faithfully reproduces the events from the original, but also offers completely new scenes, throwing more light on the events.
Moving around the successive locations of the game world we come across the inseparable battles in this genre, the system of which has been expanded here with the so-called "Arts Gauge System" known from Lunar Legend. During combat, you can choose from a variety of attacks, choose to heal your team or use a special skill.
Graphically, we are dealing with a completely different title - huge progress has been made in relation to the original. Panoramic mode has been added, of course, and the character models and surroundings look like hand-painted. The animations also allowed for the introduction of interludes, this time enriched with dubbing.
If you've been dealing with the original version of the game, you'll appreciate the completely refreshed soundtrack with newly composed songs and sound effects.
