The Madden NFL 20 is a American football simulator that allows players to control real licensed teams from the American NFL league. The gameplay puts emphasis on realism - the creators made sure that the virtual struggles resemble a real sport as much as possible.
EA Sports made a few changes in comparison to the previous installment. The biggest novelty is the Superstar X-Factor mechanics, thanks to which the individual stars of the NFL league have their own characteristic abilities and moves, giving them a certain personality and distinguishing them from other players.
Developers from EA Sports studio have also added some new strategies, including the RPO (run / option).
In Madden NFL 20, one can play alone and with others. The game offers the opportunity to play single games and tournaments with a live opponent or AI-controlled rivals.
The production also features the Face of the Franchise: QB1 campaign mode, in which players can create their own quarterback, which they then lead through the career at the College Football National Championship, NFL Combine, NFL Draft, and finally one of the NFL league teams. Patrick Mahomes, the MVP of 2018, participated in the works on this mode.
The Madden NFL 20 features attractive three-dimensional visuals based on the famous Frostbite engine and Real Players Motion's proprietary technology. The character models and stadiums are bound to satisfy players, as they faithfully represent their counterparts from the real world.
The animations also feature a high level of realism - individual players move in a characteristic way (for example, stars have their own typical ways of celebrating successes on the pitch). The gameplay is accompanied by a professional sports commentary.
