Can you survive even a second in a magical and fantastic world? If you want to answer this question or just like games in which you play heroes experiencing incredible adventures, play this game.
Magic & Mayhem: The Art of Magic is the sequel to Magic & Mayhem, a creation of Jullian Gallop, the designer of the great hit from 1994: X-Com: UFO Defense. The action takes place 500 years before the events known from Magic & Mayhem. We assume the role of a beginner mage, Aurax, who uncovers his supernatural abilities that allow him to cast spells and summon monsters. He then sets out for a long journey with an aim to rescue his kidnapped sister.
In Magic & Mayhem: The Art of Magic we dive into an epic story that consists of 30 chapters. Starting as a magic adept, we quickly discover the secret knowledge required to fight dangerous creatures inhabiting the fantasy world. The biggest novelty of the sequel is transferring the gameplay into third dimension, expanding the number of available spells (they are 54 now, 22 of which summon all kinds of incredible monsters) as well as the possibility of free camera rotation.
