Magicka: Dungeons and Daemons is an add-on for the popular hack ‘n’ slash, Magicka, developed by Arrowhead Game Studios. In the game, mages fight to the death with monsters. The whole has a rather humorous tone and an interesting magic system. The player gets a number of elements and techniques at his disposal and can create various spells combination with them.

Dungeons and Daemons is an expansion which is a reference to the popular Dungeons & Dragons system for pen ‘n’ paper RPGs. It tells a story of a mysterious dungeon underneath the castle of Aldrheim. The previously unavailable location is inhabited by mad descendants of the Aldrheim Order, awakened by an ancient evil. The mages from Magicka have to take up arms yet again to save the world.

Dungeons and Daemons adds new monsters and challenges (including a boss named Wurstmacher). As always, the world-saving mission can be attempted solo or in cooperation mode with a maximum of four players. The expansion also comes with a secret, higher difficulty level, only for the bravest daredevils.
