Action racing game created by the indie studio WooFoo, in which players participate in crazy racing championships across winding tracks. The tracks are located in various environments, such as city streets or desert canyons. The vehicles you drive are grouped into three categories: dune buggies, trucks, and sport cars. Each car has its strengths and weaknesses, and getting to know them is the key to success.
Mantis Burn Racing is a top-down action racing game released on PC, PS4 and etc.. This title was developed by VooFoo, the studio known for such games as Pure Hold'em.
Mantis Burn Racing is purely an action-based game. Most of the time you spend on maneuvering a car so to beat tracks as quickly as possible and leave your opponents far behind. Similarly to Bang Bang Racing, you get to observe races from top-down perspective. In-game tracks are set in several different environments (you’ll find both city centers and rocky deserts). There are also various vehicles grouped into three main categories: dune buggies, sport cars, and trucks. Each one of them has its strengths and weaknesses – one has better handling, while another is faster. What’s also important, cars can be customized by placing new upgrades into appropriate slots. This way you can get various combinations, which have corresponding effects on the vehicle’s performance.
The main game mode is single player career mode, in which your ultimate goal is to become a driving champion. Additionally, you can complete weekly challenges; but that’s not all the attractions the developers prepared for the fans. Mantis Burn Racing for PC, PS4 and etc. allows you to play either alone or in multiplayer. The latter is available both locally in four-player split screen mode as wel as in 4v4 online games.
As for its visual side, this may not be the most beautiful game of its time, but within this genre, Mantis Burn Racing is surely in the lead. Interestingly, this is one of the first PlayStation 4 Pro games ing the 4K resolution.
