A remake of the 2003 Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga developed by AlphaDream on Game Boy Advance. It is an unusual arcade RPG with turn-based combat. During the game, the titular Mario brothers have to forces with their arch-enemy – Bowser, and together they set out to the Beanbean Kingdom to retrieve Princess Peach’s stolen voice. The 3DS release of the game’s remake features improved visuals with more polished character models and lighting effects that are much more pleasing to the eye. Additionally, the developers decided to introduce two more attractions – a new game mode called Minion Quest: The Search for Bowser, showing the events from the main campaign as they are seen by Captain Goomba, ShyGuy, Boo, and others, as well as the of amiibo™ figures. Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser’s Minions is compatible with Super Mario toys, and along with the game’s release, the developers introduced two new figures - Goomba and Koopa Troopa.
