Mark Davis Pro Bass Challenge is another title published by Natsume, which deals with fishing. This time we are dealing with a slightly more complex product. However, the game can also be interesting for less experienced players. The titular angler, a winner of multiple prestigious tournaments, is helpful both in explaining the rules of fishing, as well as giving tips for more advanced players. Unfortunately, the game doesn't have any cut-scenes. Instead, the developer limited itself mainly to static boards or windows with useful information. Mark Davis Pro Bass Challenge is available on PlayStation 2 and Gamecube. Both versions are similar. This applies both to the quality of the audiovisuals and the game modes.

Game modes

Mark Davis Pro Bass Challenge has three basic game modes. Tournament Mode is a key element. In this mode, we can more and more prestigious fishing tournaments. We compete with real champions of this sport, including Marek Davis. The game usually involves catching large specimens or as many fish as possible within the time limit set by the game. Tournaments are divided into three groups - Amateur, Semi-Pro, and Professional. It is also worth mentioning that new items are unlocked as you make progress. The list of equipment includes various lures and rods. The other two game modes are Arcade Mode, which has slightly simplified rules, and Practice Mode, which gives you the opportunity to get to know both the basics of the game and each of the available water bodies. We fish mainly in lakes, and we move in a boat.
