Exploration of new systems became a necessity, as most of the inhabited systems ceased to provide raw materials necessary for survival and further development. Space expansion quickly turned into a stellar conflict. History has proved many times that where the interests of many communities intersect, bloodshed is a must.
Although different races have different origins, each of them can boast a knowledge of the legend of the ancient civilization that once ruled the entire galaxy. According to myth, she had control over the world called Orion, which is rich in vast amounts of raw materials and powerful technologies. Finding a legendary arrangement has become the goal of all inhabitants of the cosmos....

The game is divided into rounds in which we can perform various activities. Initially, the most important issue is the colonization of nearby planets and the development of the space fleet. When we encounter other civilizations on the way to the expansion of the galactic empire, we move on to the second phase of the struggle, in which we must use all available means to compete with the competition. And there are quite a lot of the latter. In addition to the most obvious, such as the fight against the help of the space armada, we will also find here rich diplomatic options, allowing us to negotiate and trade with foreign civilizations. At Master of Orion, you can also use spies, stealing technologies and sabotaging enemy installations.
All the races in the game have unique abilities, e.g. Earthmen are excellent diplomats and merchants, and representatives of the community called Alkari can boast of the best pilots in the galaxy. If we add to this a few levels of difficulty, the ability to choose the number of opponents (from one to five) and the size of the world in which the competition will take place, Master of Orion will soon turn out to be a game that will not get bored even by the most demanding lovers of space strategy. Decent graphic design and excellent music complements the work and makes the Master of Orion one of the most interesting positions on the market in the first half of the nineties.
