Mazowsze: Pogon w czasie is a free adventure game whose main goal is to promote the title region. It focuses on showing the beauty of Mazovia in the past, present and future. The title was created by Nitreal Games, a Warsaw-based company.
Nitreal Games is an independent studio established in 2010. Apart from Mazovia: Pogon w czasie, the company has recorded several other smaller productions, including the logical game Tiki Totems and Mission: Bielany II, which is a continuation of Warsaw's Mission: Bielany.
In the game we play the role of a young girl named Felicja, who wanted to give her grandfather a gift in the form of a watch. It turned out, however, that the watchmaker from whom she bought the gift is a mysterious person with the ability to manipulate time. As a result of the watchmaker's actions, Felicja and his cat Albert were sent to 1891, where he started to look for the missing grandfather.
Mazovia: Chase in time is a typical representative of point'n'click adventure games, in which all operations are performed with the mouse. During the adventure we can solve many puzzles, which are usually not very complicated. Among them there are both those consisting in collecting objects and using them in different places, as well as those typically logical (e.g. arranging a cut X-ray image).
The title is characterized by pleasing to the eye, hand drawn backgrounds designed to bring the player closer to the most beautiful places in Mazovia. A total of 18 unique locations have been prepared, which will be visited in different time periods (past, present and future). All of them are based on real places.
