The fourth installment in the series of mobile survival horrors developed by AGaming+ studio. All entries in the series are connected by the eponymous mental institution. Mental Hospital IV continues the story presented in the previous game, but knowledge of the events that occurred there isn’t required.
Mental Hospital IV, released on, AND and iOS, is an action-adventure game in a survival-horror atmosphere. The project was developed and released by AGaming+, a studio that has worked on all the previous games of the series.
Mental Hospital IV is a continuation of the third game, but the story is written in such a way that knowledge of the previous game isn't required. The dramatic events at St. Peter's Hospital related to the girl named Alice haven't been revealed by the authorities or the media. However, this case continues to torment the journalist led by us, so he willingly agrees to meet a mysterious stranger who claims to have interesting information about Alice.
The informant leads the protagonist to the abandoned Holy Mary's orphanage, where the mentioned girl was supposed to live in the past. Of course, this place will turn out to hide many frightening secrets and threats.
The action in Mental Hospital IV is observed from the eyes of the protagonist. Our task is mainly to explore the locations and avoid confrontation with enemies. Our character is practically defenseless, so to survive, he has to remain unnoticed. If we fail to do that, we have to resort to a desperate escape.
Compared to the previous games, the adventure elements have been significantly expanded. The plot is richer and the fun is enriched by logical puzzles. The game is relatively short and should take about an hour to complete.
Compared to Mental Hospital III, the graphics have improved significantly. Also, owners of older devices haven't been forgotten - the game has an option to lower the graphics' quality.
