We solve the task of finding hidden objects and other puzzles on the screen, trying to solve the mystery of the author's death of popular, filled with atmosphere of this kind of works.
Midnight Mysteries: The Edgar Allan Poe Conspiracy is another production of the MumboJumbo studio specializing in casual games. We play the role of a writer involved in the creation of a novel with a thrill. One day he receives an invitation from the late American author, Edgar Allan Poe, who is still very popular among lovers of mysterious stories.
The player's task is to collect evidence, question witnesses and combine circumstantial evidence about the unexplained cause of the death of a well-known writer. For this purpose, we solve numerous puzzles. Among them, the key role is played by hidden objects. They consist in finding in a specific time all the indicated objects, which the creators of the game have meticulously hidden in locations filled with various details.
Enthusiasts of Edgar Allan Poe's work will certainly be glad that the individual stages to some extent refer to his most famous works. This allows you to feel the atmosphere of mystery and, as a result, influences the pleasure flowing from the gameplay. The plot presented in the production of MumboJumbo studio closes in one day, so the player also feels the tension associated with the need to move the action forward quickly.
Graphic design does not differ from the average level for casual games of this genre. To show the location and puzzles, hand drawn, static 2D charts were used. As a result, Midnight Mysteries production runs smoothly even on weaker equipment.
