MLB: The Show 18 is an extensive baseball simulator in which you can control the team on the pitch or as a manager – the first feature is emphasised much more, the second – greatly simplified – is just a feature. The title offers loads of game modes. You can play single matches, whole seasons, or even a campaign in which you are given a particular team that you need to bring to glory. While doing so, you can e.g. pick players and make transfers. The key to success lies in… watching real MLB matches carefully. This is because the statistics of each player are updated constantly to accurately mirror his actual form.
Once playing against AI gets boring, you can challengeother players via the Internet.
