MLB: The Show 24 is the nineteenth main part of a series of sports games devoted to baseball, based on the license of the American Major League Baseball (MLB). The game was developed by the San Diego Studio team, who oversees the development of the series, operating under the wings of Sony Interactive Entertainment.

Mechanics

The pillar of the gameplay in MLB: The Show 24 are baseball matches in which we can take part directly. In addition, the game allows us to manage the team, take care of the players' condition and improve their statistics. The game can be customized to individual preferences through a variety of gameplay styles and difficulty levels.

Thanks to the official license, MLB: The Show 24 offers the presence of real teams, stadiums and player names. Nevertheless, nothing prevents you from creating your own custom players.

Game modes

MLB: The Show 24 allows you to play alone and in multiplayer mode (via the Internet or locally). Thanks to the cross-platform function, owners of versions for different platforms can play together. The game offers a range of modes:

in Storylines we follow the stories of baseball legends, accompanying them in the crucial moments of their careers;
in Road to the Show we guide our own player, helping him climb the ladder of his baseball career;
Franchise allows us to take control of the entire team and lead it to victory during multiple seasons;
in March to October we lead a selected team and focus on having the best season possible;
Diamond Dynasty is a mode in which we collect player cards and, based on them, create our own team and then put it into battle with other players' teams.
