Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme VS Force on PSV is the next installment of the Gundam Vs series. The title was created by developers from Bandai Namco, known for such series as Tales of, Soulcalibur, Pac-Man or Tekken. Originally, the production was released in Japan in December 2015, but in 2016 an English version also debuted on the market.
Plot
Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme VS Force on PSV is not driven by an addictive storyline, although developers have recreated the famous battles from Mobile Suit Gundam, Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn and more. We play as pilots known to all fans of the franchise, who sit in mechs called Mobile Suits and fight against various opponents.
Mechanics
The gameplay in Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme VS Force is not much different from Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme Vs. Full Boost, released in 2014. We observe the action from the third-person perspective, showing spectacular clashes, in which even a few machines can participate. As in any self-respecting fighting game, we can use few basic attacks, which we combine into murderous combinations.
Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme VS Force offers a few innovations, mainly more units previously unseen in video games. In addition, there is also a mode called Extreme Force Mode. It differs from normal battles, because we create three small squads consisting of two Mobile Suits each and use them to fight, during which we can use the Force system at any time. This mode stops the fight and allows us to give orders (withdrawal, new target, etc.) to individual units.
