Monster Jam Steel Titans is a simulator that gives us the chance to steer a powerful Monster Truck. The game offers a number of gameplay modes and an advanced model of vehicle destruction. The title belongs to the Monster Jam series, initiated by Ubisoft in 2002, together with Monster Jam Maximum Destruction. Since the release of the first installment, the franchise has changed ownership several times. The team at Rainbow Studios (best known for developing the MX vs. ATV series) is responsible for developing the latest installment and was published in cooperation with THQ Nordic.
The action in Monster Jam Steel Titans is observe from first or third-person perspective. Sitting behind the wheel of a monster truck we take part in a competition based on various rules - we can race, perform spectacular stunts (e.g. Moonwalk, Pogo, Backflip, Power Out, Stoppie or Cyclone) and also collide with vehicles driven by AI.
The game from Rainbow Studios offers dozens of cars to choose from (including Grave Digger, El Toro Loco and Max-D), several different stadiums, as well as routes under the open sky, where we can drive freely, destroying various obstacles and objects (as well as our car). It is worth noting that the physics system implemented in the game is characterized by a large dose of realism and attention to detail.
This title also enables the players to develop their skills and practice maneuvers at a special Monster Jam University.
Monster Jam Steel Titans can only be played solo. The game offers several gameplay modes such as Head2Head, Freestyle, Waypoint, and Timed Destruction. In some cases, our task is to get to the destination as quickly as possible, while in others it is about showing off the most spectacular tricks or destroying the car.
Monster Jam Steel Titans features very attractive three-dimensional visuals. Car models have been prepared with great attention to detail and faithfully reflect the appearance of vehicles known from the real world. The maps and stadiums on which we can ride and the realistic lighting system also make a great impression.
