Plot

We arrive in Spooky High where students are preparing for the titular Monster Prom. The party is taking place in three weeks, and many pupils still do not have a partner. Due to the fact that our hero (or heroine) is in the same situation, the mission is to find a date before we run out of time.

Mechanics

Gameplay of Monster Prom begins with the choice of our monster alter ego and picking one of six objects of desire. There are a few potential significant others, such as career-oriented Vera, princess Miranda, Damien born in hell, or the muscular werewolf Scott; each character has their unique preferences and whims which we need to satisfy. Moreover, success also lies in upgrading our statistics (e.g. with items bought in a shop or gained by winning special quizzes). Our knowledge about the monsters and our pick up skills are tested during diverse, often absurd situations. The result of our actions is also determined by the choices we make during the course of the game.
