Another edition of the famous motorcycle races, this time created for the Xbox 360 console. The '06 version offers, among other things, an extensive career, professional multiplayer, as well as more detailed graphics.

MotoGP '06: Ultimate Racing Technology is the next edition of the famous virtual motorcycle racing. Previous versions of this game were released on the PC and PS2 and Xbox consoles. This title is the first in the series to be released on Xbox 360. It is also worth mentioning that MotoGP 2006 was created exclusively for the aforementioned Microsoft console.
This title is in many ways similar to its predecessor, MotoGP 3: Ultimate Racing Technology, released in 2005. The most serious changes have, of course, included the quality of the audiovisual setting. Graphics of the discussed version has been adapted to the capabilities of Xbox 360. Improvements have included mainly the level of detail of motorcycles and their riders. The animations have been enriched, among other things, with spectacular crashes, in which we can take part in the proper competitions. The environment was also incomparably better performed. At the same time it is worth mentioning that some races take place on real tracks, well known to motorsports fans. The soundtrack consists mainly of the sounds of the engines of the individual machines participating in the competition. A dynamic soundtrack was also taken care of.
Editing with the number '06 offers a number of completely new elements, absent from previous games in the series. This race includes, among other things, a very extensive career mode. New models of machines also appear during the game. As a reward for winning more victories, a player can buy better motorcycles or improve their existing ones. There are three different capacity classes to choose from. Extreme mode, where we race on fictional tracks using futuristic motorcycles, has also been extended. MotoGP '06 also includes a powerful multiplayer. The game of course s the Xbox Live module, thus enabling you to play skirmishes on the Internet. Unlike the previous game from the series, in which there were sixteen competitors in the race, this time there may be as many as twenty of them.

Over the years, the brand changed publishers; initially it was overseen by Namco, then it was moved to THQ, from there it went to Capcom, and in 2013 it ended up in the hands of Milestone studio.
