Sports game, dedicated to the title discipline. During the game we play in one of the six competitors and fight for the victory on several routes located in different corners of the world. In addition to modes designed for solo play, the title also features a rivalry-based Head-to-Head module and a simple track wizard.

In MTV Sports: Snowboarding we play as one of six fictional players, who were differentiated in of nationality, gender and appearance, as well as style, strengths and weaknesses. During the game, we observe the action from third-person perspective, and the struggle boils down to downhill runs on routes covered with obstacles and ramps as well as performing spectacular tricks. More than forty tricks have been implemented in the game, although the list of tricks differs depending on the snowboarder we choose. During the game, we reach different parts of the world - from the United States and Japan, through Norway, to New Zealand.
MTV Sports: Snowboarding offers five gameplay variants. The first one is Qualifications, in which we try to get as many points as possible - thanks to this we get access to the Challenge mode, where we can challenge other players to duels, fighting for victory by points or trying to cross the finish line in the first position. In addition, the title enables us to compete with other player (Head-to-Head) and create our own routes in the Create-a-Park module. Newcomers can improve their skills in training mode.
MTV Sports: Snowboarding features three-dimensional visuals. The soundtrack accompanying the game consists of licensed tracks, which could be heard on the title MTV channel around the game's release date.
