Mundaun

Mechanics

In Mundaun the action was shown from the first person perspective (FPP). During the game, we find ourselves in various locations, including gloomy interiors, picturesque meadows and snow-covered playing; we walk, drive a car or sledge. During the exploration we deal with solving ingenious puzzles and searching for useful objects, as well as conducting conversations with the inhabitants of Mundaun. In this way we gradually come closer to solving the mystery of the hero's grandfather's death.

However, we have to be on our guard at every step, as the dark entities haunting Mundaun are a threat to the protagonist. Experiencing their presence, the hero gradually falls into more and more fear, which is reflected in the speed of his movements (the bigger it is, the slower the protagonist moves).

Technical aspects

Mundaun has an original graphic design maintained in monochromatic colours. The graphics is based on textures prepared by hand with a pencil.
