My Hero One's Justice 2

The protagonist of the story is again Izuku Midoriya, who was one of the (un)lucky people born without any special power. By fate, he receives it from the legendary warrior Toshinori Yagi, also known as All Might. As in the previous game, we get to knownt the fate of not only superheroes, but also their opponents, all in the form of film cut-scenes on the game engine and narrative scenes straight from visual novels.

Mechanics

My Hero One's Justice 2 has not changed significantly compared to its predecessor. It consists mainly of battling opponents in closed arenas (the number of which has increased in the sequel). The whole thing has a very arcade character. Duels take place in a one-on-one system, but before they start we can select two other characters to the main fighter, each with a unique set of abilities and special attacks. The combat itself has been improved and, as a result, it has become not only more pleasant, but also more developed. The changes, on the other hand, did not occur in the interaction with elements of the environment - they can still be destroyed, which adds to spectacularity of combat.

Character roster is not limited to Izuku Midoriyi. We can also play as Mirio Togata, Katsuki Bakugo, Shoto Todoroki, Eijiro Kirishima, Inasa Yoarashi and Jiro Momo. With the new characters we have access to new powers (so-called quirks), so that the gameplay is even more diverse.

Game modes

The game modes remain unchanged. My Hero One's Justice 2 offers an extensive single player story campaign that uses film cut-scenes to follow the story. The second one is the classic arcade mode, where we can train and unlock new items. There is also an online mode for lovers of challenging players from all over the world.

Technical aspects

My Hero One's Justice 2 is powered by Unreal Engine 4 and features a very colorful, cartoonish visuals. It is ideally suited for the vibe of a game based on manga and anime. What's more, the voices of the characters were provided by actors known from the animation.
