Mystery Cruise is a HOG (Hidden Objects Game) casual game enriched with puzzles and adventure elements. The player plays the role of Amelia, who won a ticket for a trip on a luxury ship. Unexpectedly, other engers and crew disappear during the voyage. The lonely heroine must explain what happened.
Mystery Cruise is the work of the development team of Alawar Entertainment. Production specialists for casual (occasional players) have once again reached for proven solutions, creating a HOG (Hidden Objects Game).
The story of Mystery Cruise presents the adventures of Amelia. When a young woman received an e-mail informing her that she had won a ticket for a cruise on a luxury ship, she packed her suitcases and drove to the marina without thinking long. The first week of the trip ed on blissful laziness, sunbathing and drinking drinks. It all changed when unexpectedly the remaining engers and the whole crew disappeared from the deck. Trying to explain what actually happened, the main character discovers that supernatural forces are involved.
The game is maintained in the convention typical for casual adventures of Alawar Entertainment. During the game you can visit a total of 24 locations, where you can find tasks such as "hidden objects" and puzzles in the form of simple mini-games. For less experienced players there is also a convenient system of tips and hints, which makes it easier to cope with subsequent challenges. The whole provides about 4 hours of fun.
From the visual side of the Mystery Cruise also replicates proven solutions. The creators again used their own engine. The detailed, hand-drawn backgrounds of the scenery clearly contrast with the cartoon silhouettes of the characters.
