New York Taxi

New York Taxi is the fourth game from a series of relatively simple races published by a German producer. The player takes on the role of the title taxi driver, this time the arena of his actions is the famous American city.

As in previous titles from the Taxi series, the player must distribute engers to their designated seats in the shortest possible time. It is therefore extremely important to get to know the layout of streets, as well as the location of the most important shortcuts. Depending on the speed of bringing the client to the place, the player receives a greater or lesser bonus. The people picked up come from different social groups. The player can take businessmen, brokers, tourists and even gangsters. Traffic plays an important role during the game. Interestingly, its intensity depends on the current time of day. The player must also watch out for ers-by, who are not deducted, because they jump in front of an incoming taxi at the last minute. There are four vehicle models to choose from, differing in performance or grip. Cars are not indestructible, subsequent impacts translate into significantly poorer car performance, and its bodywork is subject to numerous deformations. It is worth mentioning that the game rewards cascading tricks, for which the player is rewarded accordingly.
