Nexuiz Classic

Nexuiz Classic is a game developed by a group of multiplayer action game enthusiasts. It is a 3D shooter dedicated to deathmatch online gameplay, powered by a modernized Quake I engine.

Up to 64 players may participate in virtual combat. Matches take place on 20 different arenas. The game offers a bunch of original weapons with which we exterminate our foes. The players also get to choose one of 15 character models. It is noteworthy that matches are very quick-paced and dynamic, so boredom is not an option.

The game environment is powered by Darkplaces engine which is an advanced modification of the Quake I engine. It was created by Forest “LordHavoc” Hale. Its biggest advantages are Quake3bsp format and Md3/Md2 models . Moreover, dynamic light and shadows, as well as over a thousand 32-bit TGA textures, make a nice impression. Undoubtedly, the fact that the game and its source code (GPL) are entirely free is also a huge advantage.
