Mechanics

This title represents classic point & click adventure games, the main idea of which is to explore a vast world and solve a number of often complex puzzles. We observe the world of Neyyah from the first-person perspective, traversing static locations filled with various environmental puzzles that require perceptiveness and the ability to combine collected information. To unlock further locations, the items collected along the way, which the hero keeps in his inventory, also prove to be necessary.

Technical aspects

Neyyah's visuals highly reflect the retro style of adventure games like Myst. The locations presented in the game are highly-detailed, and their color scheme is soft and pleasing to the eye. The experience is enriched by the atmospheric soundtrack.

Although the gameplay remains largely static, animations are present in the game. They include things like going up and down (stairs, ladder), opening doors, seeing flying birds etc. They can be easily skipped by right-clicking the mouse.
