NFL 2K2 is the next installment of this extremely popular series. The game focuses on American football. This series is published by SEGA and at the same time is considered by many as one of the best in this area. It is also a direct competitor to Electronic Arts' Madden NFL products.
NFL 2K2 does not introduce any revolutionary changes to the gameplay.
This product is, of course, officially licensed (2001 season) by the titular organization (NFL - National Football League). This means that we can take control of each team participating in subsequent matches. The competition, in turn, is played in real-life stadiums. NFL 2K2 has a fairly standard range of play modes available. The most attractive seems to be, of course, the possibility of ing the fully fledged seasons and playoff games. However, there is also a possibility to play single matches. NFL 2K2 also has a very extensive multiplayer. Up to eight players can play on the same console.
It is worth noting that this is the first installment available on PS2 and Xbox. The previous part of this series was released only on the Dreamcast console. Both versions of the NFL 2K2 present virtually the same level of performance, both in of the variety of options, as well as in of graphic design. This version also offers improved control. These included both modifications to the movement of individual characters, as well as improvements to the system responsible, for example, for intercepting the ball. Visually, the game looks decent. The authors have contributed, among other things, to improve the animation of individual movements. NFL 2K2 also features a professional commentary.
