Nitro Express is a platform action game of the shoot'em up type. We find ourselves in the futuristic Nitro City - a fictional Special istrative Region of Tokyo. During the game, we play as policewomen restoring order in the city streets after the patrolling drones started posing a threat to public safety. The game was developed by the independent Japanese studio Grayfax Software.

Gameplay

In Nitro Express we watch the action from the side.

Opponents

While exploring Nitro City, our primary task is to eliminate numerous enemies. On our way, we encounter various machines - from small drones, which are not a major problem to defeat, to more powerful enemies, led by helicopters and tanks, which serve as bosses.

Arsenal

We make use of an arsenal that includes machine guns, grenades, as well as more sophisticated weapons, such as EMP charges (emitting electromagnetic pulses and immobilizing enemy machines), automatic turrets, flamethrowers, and anti-tank missile launchers.

Shooting

The game gives us full, 360-degree aiming freedom. Although selected types of weapons allow for shooting on the move, in the case of heavier weapons, it is better to assume an appropriate, stable shooting position. Thanks to this, the fire conducted by us becomes more precise, and the projectiles inflict greater damage on the targets.
