Old School RuneScape is a 3D MMO role-playing game and a conversion of the 2001 PC Windows production RuneScape, a fantasy MMO game. Unlike RuneScape Mobile, Old School lives up to its name by allowing you to play the game as originally released, without changes implemented over the later years. The production was developed by Jagex.
Old School RuneScape is a classic MMORPG. You create your own character and then explore the 3D world, do quests, kill monsters, gather experience points and equipment, and compete against each other for influence and opportunities. There are several dozens of abilities to use, including non-combat ones (such as wood-chopping, fishing, baking or making bonfires. You can also craft your own equipment.
Old School RuneScape features only an online multiplayer mode.
Fittingly for an oldschool production, the game features simple 3D visuals, vastly different from modern standards, but still appealing to classic game fans. Old School RuneScape s the cross-platform play system, allowing you to play with people using PC Windows or phones with other operating systems, as well as to continue playing as the character you created on PC.
