Like our predecessors, our main goal is to exterminate a hordes of zombies. Onechanbara Z: Kagura depicts a specific opponent in the form of a dark woman served by the legions of demons and the undead. The changes also affected the heroines who became vampires.
The series enters a new phase, where we no longer only exterminate a hordes of the same enemies, but also face demons and mutants in different locations.
The game is still about following the closed stages and the continuous extermination of the threat. Each of the heroines has a range of different blows divided into fast, medium and slow attacks, as well as special ones. In addition, the heroine sometimes has to perform some additional task, and take care of her weapon, which becomes less effective than excess blood.
The authors changed the convention of the game, turning it from a poorly performed Dynasty Warriors clone into a game closer to a mixture of such hits as Devil May Cry or Shinobi. The new graphics engine has allowed for much more dynamic battles, including battles with huge bosses, environmental damage and better graphics. This does not mean that suddenly we are dealing with a very nice game, but in comparison to the predecessors, every aspect of the visual setting has improved.
Onechanbara Z: Kagura attacks the player again with evocative eroticism, mixed with the atmosphere characteristic for grind production. During the extermination of the hordes of enemies in the background is played by electronic music and remixes of songs from the previous parts.
