Another edition of the most popular and complex manger games, released annually, dedicated to baseball and created by OOTP Developments. Like in most games of this type, our goal in Out of the Park Baseball 16 is to lead our team to success which can be achieved by taking care of all aspects of team management.
Out of the Park Baseball 16 is another entry in the annual series of one of the most popular and complex baseball manager games. The series, established in 1999, is the products of OOTP Developments’ efforts and throughout the years it changed from a simple text manager into a modern simulator with 3D graphics used during the matches. In the year 2011 the studio created a sub-series called iOOTP Baseball released on mobile devices.
Like in most games of this type our goal in Out of the Park Baseball 16 is to lead our team to success that can be achieved by taking care of all its aspects. During the game we can, among others, create a team's line-up and tactics for matches and assign roles to players. However, we can't forget about searching for new, promising players, securing sponsor deals, making player transfers and g contracts or selling players that are not needed anymore. Taking care of a club's financial stability and hiring qualified specialists for key jobs is also important.
The 2016 edition adds the Australian national league and many independent USA and Japanese leagues to a huge amount of licenses from the previous games. The most important of them is the American MLB league in which we can find up-to-date teams and statistics of players during the opening of the 2015 season. The management system of managers and coaches was completely redesigned. Now, they have their own unique personalities and preferences as well as unique abilities. There are also new game modes such as Manager Only, GM Only and GM + Manager. Like every year, the finance, interface and team tactics were also improved. The same can be said about other elements of the game.
As with every other release, the audiovisuals were improved again although they are still based on the same, regularly modified, engine. This means that the realism is even higher thanks to things such as weather conditions, much more realistic simulation of a ball or better sound effects.
