Pang Adventures for PS4, AND and etc. is an arcade game which is the newest instalment of the popular Pang series, known in Japan as Pomping World and in the USA as Buster Bros. The series was born in 1989 on arcade machines. The new part was developed by DotEmu specialising in refreshing classic hits, like Metal Slug series.
During gameplay you follow another adventures of two Pang brothers, who fight the invasion of aliens threatening the Earth. Since the last raid that was stopped by the two brave heroes, Aliens took their time and improved their technology. In the outcome, the newest version features loads of new challenges. The simple plot serves just as a pretext for actual gameplay.
General principles of gameplay practically have not changed throughout years. Traditionally, the player’s objective is to destroy balls jumping through levels. The problem is that they are not ive and can attack the protagonists and sometimes hide behind different obstacles. To eliminate them efficiently, you can use a wide range of weapons, e.g. machine guns, flamethrowers, lasers, shurikens, etc. There are +100 various levels set in different locations, like the Arctic, Scotland, the Death Valley, and Bora Bora isles. For the first time in the series, this title introduces difficult boss fights at the end of each chapter.
Pang Adventures offers three different game modes: Tour Mode (the classic single player campaign), Score Attack (survival, in which you have only three lives), and Panic Mode (you have to finish 99 difficult levels with no pauses). The game published on PC and PlayStation 4/Xbox One consoles offers cooperation for two players, both local and Internet.
Available on PS4, AND and etc. Pang Adventures features characteristic for the series, relatively simple visuals which, even though utilise HD graphics and a whole palette of impressive special effects, successfully maintain the spirit of the productions from the past.

Game Ratings for Pang Adventures Video Game.
Push Square: 7 / 10 by Stephen Tailby
Pang Adventures is a thoroughly retro arcade game that offers addictive bubble-bursting fun in a modestly sized package. The gameplay is compelling enough to keep you playing for a few hours, but whether its trio of modes provide much replay value is another matter. It's certainly worth a look if you have an old-school itch that needs scratching, and fans of the original game will be pleased with just how faithful Pastagames has been to that decades-old formula.
Expansive: by Laurie Jones
Pang Adventures is just good – solo or co-op – old-fashioned retro arcade fun that is perfectly suited to handheld play. There’s nothing different from the Switch version compared to the rest, but it's a fair argument to say that this is the definitive edition.
PlayStation Universe: 7 / 10 by John-Paul Jones
In keeping with the spirit of the nearly three decade old original, Pang Adventures entertains with its easy to grasp, difficult to master shooter sensibilities. While the broad repetition of mechanics and lack of online play and truly new content will surely grate, Pang Adventure remains decent fodder for a quick session whenever you have the odd few minutes to spare for its classic arcade beats.
