An expansion for the 2020 turn-based strategy game. Panzer Corps 2: Elite - Ghost Division add-on allows us to lead the titular panzer division, participating in World War 2 battles in Poland and on the Eastern Front. There are new scenarios available and new features, including an option to disable the turn limit.
Panzer Corps 2: Elite - Ghost Division is an expansion for the 2020 turn-based strategy game that takes us to the World War II battlefields. The add-on was developed by the creators of the base version of Panzer Corps 2, namely Flashback Games studio.
Panzer Corps 2: Elite - Ghost Division fully focuses on the titular squad - it is the German 7th Armored Division, which was commanded by the famous Erwin Rommel.
For the purposes of the add-on, 9 scenarios were prepared, which allow us to trace the career of this division in the years 1939-1945, starting from its first battles in Poland (when it was known as the 2nd Light Division), through the campaign in , up to the clashes on the Eastern Front.
The developers made an effort to ensure that the game was as faithful to historical facts as possible. Not only the aforementioned Rommel, but also other German commanders such as Georg Stumme or Karl Mauss, carry out briefings for the next missions.
Initially, we are given Panzer Is tanks at our disposal, but over time we gain access to increasingly advanced units, capable of facing Soviet T-34/41 and IS-2, French Char B and British Matilda II tanks.
It is also significant that the developers decided to refer back to the roots of the series, setting goals for us focused on taking over enemy territories. Apart from them, however, optional commands appear. Taking them on increases the difficulty level, but at the same time provides us with access to unique rewards such as prototype weaponry. The cherry on top is the ability to disable the turn limit, which was introduced in this expansion.
Panzer Corps 2: Elite - Ghost Division is a non-standalone expansion, so it requires the base version of the game Panzer Corps 2.
