Paranoid is the second production of Md studio in Bydgoszcz, known from Agony. The title is a survival horror and offers a brutal gameplay, suitable only for an adult audience. We play the role of a mentally ill man who receives a message from his missing sister.
Paranoid is a game by Md studio from Bydgoszcz, the developers of Agony. The game is a first-person survival horror that follows a man whose delusions mix with reality.
Paranoid tells the story of Patrick Calman, a 31-year-old man suffering from mental disorders, whose parents died in unexplained circumstances 13 years ago and his sister disappeared. Since then, the protagonist decided to live in solitude. The player starts the game with a ringing phone - the protagonist hears his missing sister's voice. Patrick decides to leave the asylum and embark on a journey that can lead him to the brink of madness.
Md Studio's game is a survival horror that combines a story for adults with brutal gameplay. The events on the screen are observed from the first-person perspective. The game has a simple combat system, but the hero is more often forced to hide than participate in fights. It is worth noting that hallucinations tormenting the protagonist can be dealt with by using drugs, but there is a risk of overdose. The production offers three endings depending on the decisions made and the playstyle.

The game offers a realistic visual setting. Md Studio took care of the right mood and atmosphere of the locations, placing the player in the very center of the claustrophobic apartment. Graphics are characterized by sparse lighting and frequent use of depth of field. Paranoid is aimed exclusively at adult players.
