PAW Patrol World is a licensed action adventure game based off a popular TV show, PAW Patrol. It was developed by 3DClouds studio, known for such games as PAW Patrol: Grand Prix.
PAW Patrol World is set in the same world as the PAW Patrol cartoon. The PAW Patrol Festival is in danger, as the evil Mayor Humdinger has stolen all the advertising posters and hid on his giant blimp alongside his Catastrophe Crew, wreaking havoc. The show's protagonists, puppies Chase, Skye, Marshall, Rubble, Zuma, Rocky, Everest and Trucker, must stop him and save the festival.
PAW Patrol World is a third-person game (TPP). It features an open world, consisting of such locations as the Adventure Bay, Jake’s Mountain, the Jungle, and Barkingburg. Though we can travel it on foot - or, rather, on paw - various vehicles can be used to move more effectively.
We play as various characters, each with unique abilities. These come in handy when completing objectives. Aside from story missions, there are also various side quests to check out, as well as memory quests based on iconic PAW Patrol episodes.
As we progress through the game we acquire gadgets and comsetics, such as emotes, stamps, labels, outfits or vehicle stickers, letting us customize our pups' appearance to our liking.
PAW Patrol World s singleplayer and local split screen co-op.
PAW Patrol World features colorful visuals, retaining the show's appealing artstyle.

If you’re searching for a game that can entertain a 4-year-old and their adult counterpart, Paw Patrol World is the answer. It’s a delightful journey that speaks to the hearts of both the youngest and the young at heart, reminding us that sometimes, the most enjoyable adventures are those we share with our little heroes.

While I can appreciate the direction of making PAW Patrol World an open world adventure, there just isn’t a lot going on for it. I loved the idea that it sold me on with it being a co-op adventure and working together with unique abilities… it’s just unfortunate that there’s nothing unique about the gameplay at all. There are no different mini-games or activities that require different thinking or gameplay, it’s just always the same bland QTE.

However, it also leaves a lot to be desired in that its graphics are certainly not impressive by any means and its overall gameplay is incredibly simple and repetitive, even for its target audience. At times, many things feel confusingly implemented and the option for co-op feels a bit like an afterthought. With all that being said, it is still potentially worth giving a chance as there is a lot going on for PAW Patrol World that will help introduce young children to modern gaming in a way that not many other games like it can, however, anyone over the age of the target audience is likely to be unimpressed and quickly bored.
