Pekoe is a charming simulation game developed by an independent Canadian Kitten Cup Studio. The title received accolades during 2021 and 2022's Wholesome Directs, as well as a special award from National Bank during 2020's Ubisoft Indie Series.

Plot

The game stars a new resident of a cat town, settling down in an old tea house, restoring it to glory. During work, they get to know the other townspeople, forming interesting bonds and relationships.

Mechanics

The game revolves around managing and gradually developing a private business. We'll spend most of our time running a tea house, learning various tea brewing techniques, useful when later developing our own unique recipes.

While working and exploring the area we get to know other residents of the city. The game features over 10 unique characters, each with a different personality and tea preferences. We can also visit one of the other seven tea houses operating in the cat town. This lets us stock up on exclusive tea cups and ingredients that increase our brews' flavor and value.

Serving tea and chatting with customers is not all we can do. We can also upgrade our tea house through new equipment and decor, changing its appearance to our liking.
