Extended version of Phantom Breaker: Extra. In Phantom Breaker: Omnia we get to Tokyo and take part in the martial arts tournament, the winner of which is to get one wish fulfilled. The game offers us 20 characters and lets us choose one of three fighting styles.
Phantom Breaker: Omnia is a revamped and content-enhanced version of the 2013-released fighting game titled Phantom Breaker, which was just over two years older. Game was developed by Mages studio, and published by Rocket Panda Games.
The action of Phantom Breaker: Omnia takes place in Tokyo. Manipulated by a mysterious Phantom, teenagers take part in a martial arts tournament, hoping to win and get one of their wishes fulfilled in return. What they don't know is that by fighting with the use of the powerful Fu-mension Artefacts, they are violating the borders of parallel universes, whose fall will lead to the unleashing of the Phantom's true destructive powers.
Phantom Breaker: Omnia puts 20 warriors at our disposal. Among them we'll find all the heroes who appeared in Phantom Breaker: Extra, as well as two completely new ones, who debut in this version of the game. In addition, two more characters make guest appearances: Kurisu Makise from the Chaos;Head. Each of them has a unique weapon and their own set of moves.
During dynamic duels in arenas we can use three fighting styles - fast, strong and Omnia, which makes its debut here. They are differentiated in of speed, strength of attacks and possibilities available on the battlefield. Controls are simple and easy to learn, and the developers have taken care of the balance of the combat system and made numerous improvements to it.
Phantom Breaker: Omnia can be played solo (the title includes story modes from Phantom Breaker and Phantom Breaker: Extra) or in multiplayer (online or shared screen).
The manga graphics of Phantom Breaker: Omnia presents a good quality. We can listen to the soundtrack, which has been refreshed and rearranged (although it is possible to switch on the original music).
