Planet Coaster 2 is the second installment in a series of economic strategies launched in 2016, which allows us to test our skills as an amusement park manager. The game was developed by the authors of the original, i.e. the Frontier Developments studio, whose portfolio includes genre-related titles from the Jurassic World Evolution series.

Gameplay

The gameplay in Planet Coaster 2 is based on the pillars established by the previous title in this series. Our primary task is to create an amusement park from scratch and ensure that it generates the highest possible income.

Metro GameCentral: 8 / 10 by Steve Boxer

Everything you could want from a theme park simulator, with a near endless collection of modes and options, and an endearingly cheerful tone and sense of humour.

DualShockers: 7.5 / 10 by Dashiell Reynaldo

As a deeply crafted and detailed sandbox, Planet Coaster 2 still shines in similar ways to the original, such as the coaster editor that allows you to create any coaster you could ever want. At its core, Planet Coaster will make some ask if enough changes were made to improve the sandbox or if it's just the same Planet Coaster with some new bells and whistles.

ZTGD: 8 / 10 by Ken McKown

Planet Coaster 2 is a bigger, badder version of the original. I spent countless hours building parks in that as well as their other titles such as Jurassic World. These types of games just resonate with me, at least the sandbox portions do. I highly recommend this game, but if you have the option, go with the PC version just for mouse and keyboard . It really does enhance the experience. Either way, there are dozens of hours of fun to be had in the world of Planet Coaster 2.
