A mobile edition of the Korean causal MMORPG series by Nexon. Like its PC predecessor, Pocket MapleStory utilizes a free-to-play model with optional microtransactions. The game is set in a fantasy world, where you can fight various monsters. You can choose from three characters with unique abilities. As the game progresses, they gather experience and learn new skills.
Pocket MapleStory is a mobile installment of a Korean MMORPG series. The production, similarly to the PC version, is available in the freemium model.
The title is a representative of casual RPG, so anyone interested can start the game, regardless of their experience with this type of productions. Players take part in an epic adventure in a fantasy world, where they can expect, above all, numerous battles with monsters. As befits the port of an MMORPG, the creators did not forget about the multiplayer. Player-controlled characters can guilds, forces during dungeon crawling, or perform special challenges together. Of course, along with the progress in the game we gain experience, which translates into new skills of our characters. We have only three heroes to choose from, but each of them has unique abilities.
The main element of Pocket MapleStory is the combat, but this does not mean that there is nothing else in the game. The developers have taken care of a crafting system, which enables us produce various items. In addition, customization lovers will be happy to know about the possibility of changing hairstyles, outfits, etc.
Pocket MapleStory features a two-dimensional manga-like visuals, which will be immediately recognized by fans of the first part of MapleStory. During the game, we can also observe various and spectacular special effects on the screen, which are triggered by powerful attacks.
