Pokemon Shuffle for AND, iOS and 3DS is another one of the many games in the Pokemon series but, unlike the rest of them, is a free-to-play logical game with microtransactions.

Mechanics

In Pokemon Shuffle for AND, iOS and 3DS, just like in almost all of the Pokemon games, we take the role of a Pokemon trainer. We fight with wild pokemons, which, after being defeated, end up in our collection. Gameplay is based on the match-3 mechanics, making the game’s ‘combat’ more like a jigsaw puzzle. We have to connect at least three elements of the same type in horizontal or vertical lines. Here, pokemon icons are these elements. In order to attack our enemy, we have to put in line three icons of, for example, Pikachu. The more we use one pokemon, the more experience it gets. With time, attacks of such a pokemon will get stronger and stronger. We have to though, we have a limited number of moves in each combat and if we use them all before defeating our enemy, we automatically lose. Each wild pokemon has their strengths and weaknesses, so it would be wise to plan before battles.
