In the last part of the saga of Forgotten Realms, the team of daredevils returns to the flourishing city of Phlan, where the inhabitants are unaware of the evil lurking in the darkness waiting for a convenient opportunity to attack.
Pools of Darkness is the fourth and the last installment in the cRPG saga based on the rules of Advanced Dungeons & Dragons, taking place in the world of Forgotten Realms. For ten years our party fought evil that haunted this world. Lord Bane has finally been utterly defeated and blissful peace finally came to the Forgotten Realms. The party comes to the city of Phlan yet again, coming full circle since their journey started in Pool of Radiance.
Since our last visit, when we had to defeat Tyranthraxus, the city has changed for the better. There are city towers in the place of ruins, the rebuilt slums are teeming with life again and ships safely dock under the watchful eye of the Sokal Tower.
However, once the party arrives, it turns out that the matters are not that good and the help of brave adventurers is needed once again. The forces of evil are lurking in the dark, waiting for a suitable moment to strike the unsuspecting citizens.
