Mechanics

In Praetorians: HD Remaster, the action is shown from bird's eye view. What lies at the heart of the game, warfare, is made difficult by the fact that we have a limited number of units on more than twenty missions, and the ability to recruit new ones is determined by the natural growth and the number of glory points we have at our disposal at any given time.

This forces us to skillfully manage our military resources and develop appropriate tactics taking into the topography of the terrain (for example, archery is most effective when the archers are on the hill), individual skills of our subordinates or finally the opportunities offered by various formations. It should be ed that individual units are effective in battles against specific enemy forces. It is worth noting that apart from the aforementioned archers, the battlefields feature, among others, pikemen, the eponymous praetorians and various war machines like rams or catapults.

Technical aspects

While working on Praetorians: HD Remaster, the devs improved the graphics and adapted it to high resolutions. In addition, the interface and controls have been improved.
