An action-RPG title from the Japanese studio Cygames. Project Awakening takes the players to a fantasy world where they must face many dangers, including huge monsters like in the Monster Hunter series.
Project Awakening is an action-RPG developed for PlayStation 4. It is another game of Cygames studio, known for mobile titles like Shadowverse card game.
The setting of Project Awakening is a fictional high fantasy world, in which humans live along powerful beasts. We play as a knight who must face not only monsters but also a much bigger threat.
The gameplay of Project Awakening resembles the Monster Hunter series. We explore locations tracking monster which we must defeat. Battles are purely arcade, but they also require patience: the hero blocks or dodges attacks while waiting for an opening to strike.
Project Awakening’s creators put a lot of effort to make sure three-dimensional visuals are of the highest possible quality, which is clearly visible when looking at monsters’ animations.

Written off by many players, Project Awakening is still in development. After a long hiatus, the developers have revived their fantastic RPG.
