Project Runway, released on PC and Wii, is based on the famous American reality show Project Runway. The game was developed by Tornado Studios, known for its arcade games on consoles, mobile devices and Facebook.
The show debuted on the air in 2005 and was quite successful in the USA, Great Britain, Canada, Norway, Malaysia, Australia and the Philippines. The competition aimed to select from among the group of beginner fashion designers a person who will show the greatest ingenuity and inventiveness while creating their collection. The participants were judged by a four-member jury led by the famous model Heidi Klum. Tim Gunn, acting as a mentor, helped the contestants to perform several tasks.
Project Runway features similar tasks. Our goal is to design, create and present our collection to the jury. In addition, however, we need to take care of models, whose task will be to present our achievements in the most effective way possible. It will be up to us to take care of the clothes, hairstyle, make-up and accessories of our guests.
In addition to the possibility of taking part in the electronic version of the TV show, the developers also made two other game modes available to the players. In the first of them, we focus on photo shoots in an exotic location chosen by us. In the second, we can start our own career as a designer and let our imagination run wild.
