A free-to-play turn-based cross between an RPG and a strategy game, focused on gacha mechanics. RAID: Shadow Legends has us unlocking different heroes and taking part in arena battles, either in singleplayer or multiplayer.
RAID: Shadow Legends is a free-to-play cross between a turn-based RPG and strategy game, featuring gacha mechanics. It was developed by Plarium, an Israeli team existing since 2009, specializing in creating mobile and browser games.
RAID: Shadow Legends is set in a fantasy world of Teleria. Fed up with the tyranny of Dark Lord Siroth, the world's immortal guardian, the Arbiter, decides to resurrect famous Telerian warriors. They must gather a powerful army and stop the tyrant.
Most of RAID: Shadow Legends focuses on arena combat. Battles are turn-based, having us control a party of various heroes, ranging from lizardmen to ogres and dark elves.
The heroes differ in of faction and combat style. To succeed, we must make good use of our characters' strengths and exploit the enemies' weaknesses.
As we progress through the game, we unlock and upgrade new characters, acquire better gear and grow more powerful, facing more powerful enemies over time.
RAID: Shadow Legends features an extensive story campaign. The game, however, only reaches its full potential in multiplayer, letting us face off against other players or take part in ranked battles to acquire valuable rewards. Together, we can compete for loot or face powerful bosses.
RAID: Shadow Legends features decent graphics. The arenas, units and visual effects may be particularly appealing.
